Penelope Lewis co-founded 15 Minutes Productions, and was Co-Director of the company from 1999 to 2011. Currently, she is at the World Bank as Senior Advisor to Foundations.
Penelope was first trained as a journalist with the BBC. She has written and produced stories for radio and television on a wide range of subjects from human rights in post war Kosovo to United Nations reform.
Before founding 15 Minutes, she was a Communications Officer at UNICEF and previously at the World Food Programme. She was a senior spokesperson in several humanitarian crises: Rwanda, Burundi, Angola, Northern Albania, Kosovo, and Honduras.
Penelope has a BA honors and a Masters degree in History from Cambridge University, UK and she is fluent in Italian.
